The game project American McGee's Alice HD is an alternative story based on "Alice in Wonderland". A game combined with a platformer and a quest, offering to plunge into a world of darkness, gloom and evil events. The action of the story touches on the story of the original cartoon and begins when Alice's parents die. A girl has decided that she is to blame and is now being sent to a mental institution, where her stay was inconclusive. Now the heroine once again goes to the Wonderstring, but not the one before - but the evil one.
