After visiting several cities, she witnesses a mysterious murder in Hamburg, about which horrifying information begins to emerge. Events develop into something more that threatens all of humanity. Famine in Africa, a crisis in Europe, and a war in South America all happen at the same time, and the roots of the situation lead to that very murder.
